Mak’Ta,The Broken Continent

Historical Context

This continent was the place where the Creator broke apart and where the True Gods opened the first fissures and later portals into the void during the Age Of Chaos, it’s the region impacted the most by the events following the creation of the True Dragons.

Demographic Overview

The Broken Continent is home to the Dragonkin, but it’s not limited to that, all over the, in phenomena denched, islands live a vareity of different people and species. It’s the most diverse region on all of Endra. Beastkin, Dragonkin, Plantkin, and even Elementalkin can be seen here. However, the region is not limited to just origin species, the region was hit the hardest by the influx of refugees from other realities during the Age Of Chaos.
It is thanks to that that the region became a melting pot of different cultures from all over the Void.

Religions

The Main Religion here are the True Dragons, being the original birthplace of the first Dragonkin, Mak’Ta, which is the draconic word for The Land That Forged Us, became the home to several of the True Dragons which resulted in huge temples being build in their honor by their descendants.
Of course, the True Dragons are not the only ones being worshipped here, the main branch of the Matriach has its seat of power here, very much to the locals displeasure. Priceless Peace, and The Suffering Guardian have their main temple here too.
Aside from those there are multiple different faiths, and of course the True Gods, but those are worshipped everywhere.

Realms (WIP)

Kuraghat Hive
The Kuraghat Hive is the last hold out of a species that was senteced for eradication during The Age Of Chaos, a small popupation of Karaghat managed to escape the cleansing and settle in a remote area on the Broken Continent. During The Age Of Order they managed to forge a place for themselves in the form of the country known as the Kuraghat Hive. It is the most diverse country in the region, ruled by a Hivemind and with a cast system that enacts laws and punishment based on your cast, is the Kuraghat Hive one of the most secure countries in the region. It certainly helps that corruption among officials is punishable by a fate worse than death.
The Highest cast is the Hivemind, nobody really wants to get that high, but on the other hand, being in a high cast makes life easier in many ways. The Kuraghat Hive allows any creature intelligent enough to become a citizen, as long as they can prove to be of use and understand the laws, new citizens always start at the bottom, society in Kuraghat Hive, while those who are born there are able to sink lower at any time. Being in a low cast may make it possible for you to get away with thivery at times, but being at a high cast might mean you can get away with murder as long as your victim was worth less to the country than you are.

Nobel Spire
Nobel Spire is a single tall mountain with sharp cliffs sorrounded by water, housing a clan of Dwarves that arrived during the Age Of Chaos after their reality was torn apart due to some idiots experimenting with the heart of a God from their reality. The Dwarves there wish to be left alone for the most part and only occaisionally exchange with the outside of their home.

Shatter Sky and Broken Hope
The place where the first stable portal to the Void formed first became a slum and later a city. (I want to write that story, so I’m not going to divulge any more about this place.)
